Mrs Browns Boys star Rory Cowan to serve up 'hilarious' episode for new series of The Restaurant
Mrs Browns Boys star Rory Cowan will be on the menu for the new series of TV3's The Restaurant.
And true to form, the well-known actor will be serving up a "hilarious" episode for TV viewers when his episode kicks off the new series of the hot show on February 10.
For starters Rory gives his diners a choice between Prawn Cocktail and Grilled Halloumi, Fillet of Steak and Pan fried fillets of John Dory for mains, topped off with a choice of Crème Brulée or Rainbow Cake for dessert.
Maitre D John Healy returns with Sean Moncrieff as the voice of the series, alongside new critic Marco Pierre White and returning resident critic Tom Doorley. Both Tom and Marco will be joined by a special guest critic each week.
Guest critic for Rory's menu on the first episode is food activist and writer Ross Golden-Bannon.
Other celebrities taking part will be controversial TV personality Dr Eva Orsmond, music sensation Nathan Carter and soccer star Kevin Kilbane.
Pippa O'Connor and former Dragon's Den star Sean Gallagher are also on the line-up.
Speaking at this morning's launch at Marco Pierre White's restaurant on Donnybrook, TV3's direct of content Lynda McQuaid paid special tribute to late critic Paolo Tullio, who said he'll be dearly missed on the show.
