Comedienne Margaret Cho has officially joined the panel of E! network's Fashion Police show.
The 47-year-old is well-known for stirring up controversy with her boundary-pushing stand-up routines and now she is planning on bringing her outlandish humour to the fore as she co-hosts the style series.
"I love joining the crew of Fashion Police," she told The Hollywood Reporter. "To me it feels like family. Although I am not quite a fashionista, I would love to look at it like I am changing it up - Fashion Police: Special Victims Unit. It makes me happiest to spend time with Melissa (Rivers), and when I see her laugh at my joke, I feel like Joan (Rivers) is smiling, somewhere."
Margaret will make her debut on the television programme in 2016, joining Giuliana Rancic, Brad Goreski and Melissa Rivers on the panel.
Iconic comedienne Joan Rivers spearheaded Fashion Police in 2010 and, after she passed away in September, 2014, show executives struggled to replace her.
Fellow funnywoman Kathy Griffin initially took her place, but she quit after just seven episodes back in March (15) - a month after long-term panellist Kelly Osbourne left following a bust-up with producers and co-host Rancic - and the succession of departures forced the show into a five month hiatus.
The programme returned on 31 August (15) with Melissa, who also produces the show, Giuliana and Brad.
Margaret has a busy 2016 to look forward to - she also recently signed up to star in Highland, a new marijuana-themed family show, which will appear on Internet streaming service Amazon.
