Love Island viewers will see Camilla Thurlow deliberating whether to move forward in her latest relationship with newcomer Jamie Jewitt after having her heart previously broken.

Thurlow has been growing closer to Jewitt over the past few days on the ITV2 dating programme, and in Sunday’s episode they sealed their romance with a kiss.

In scenes that air in Monday’s episode, she will be seen scoring Jewitt’s kissing technique as a “10 out of 10” before they later embark on a night together in the villa’s private Hideaway.

Over the course of the reality show – which sees singletons attempt to find love and couple up to ultimately win a cash prize in the idyllic setting of a Majorcan villa – Thurlow has been involved in two romances.

The first, with Jonny Mitchell, left her admittedly “hurt” after he dumped her for Tyla Carr, and the second, with Craig Lawson, was called off by her due to her concerns about falling too fast into another romance.

In the next instalment of the show, Thurlow will be seen in the Beach Hut praising her potential new partner.

She says: “Jamie’s brownie points have now shot through the roof obviously after that. I had no idea what was happening and it was just perfect.

“I couldn’t feel any happier right now… I think Jamie is a very special type of person. I’ve never met anyone like him.

“Nobody is perfect but I’m struggling to find a fault at the moment.”

She will then be seen speaking to her co-stars Gabby Allen and Amber Davies about taking the next step in her budding relationship.

Thurlow, a bomb disposal expert, says: “I’m a normal woman. Of course every person would want to have sex with him, I mean look at him.

“But we don’t know where we are at just yet and we’ve got two weeks to go. Shouldn’t I wait to find out what it’s like outside before I do that in case this is something that’s only happening in here?”

In a separate conversation with Montana Brown, who tells Thurlow to “just go with it”, Thurlow says she needs “more confirmation” from Jewitt’s side.

She says: “I don’t want to go from zero to 100… In the real world I wouldn’t sleep with someone after four days.”

Brown says: “Don’t do it if you don’t want to do it but I’m just saying, you need to give him some kind of signs of the go ahead that you do fancy him because you’re quite hard to read.”

Thurlow says that she needs to “step it up a bit but that doesn’t mean sleep with him”.

Later in the episode, as the islanders celebrate her birthday, she and Jewitt are chosen by the others to spend the night in the privacy of the Hideaway, away from the shared bedroom.

Thurlow says: “It’s definitely important that Jamie and I have some kind of alone time to see how things go when it’s just the two of us.”
