Laura Whitmore sees profits from her media company soar

TV host Laura Whitmore has seen profits from her media firm soar to over €520,000.

The popular 'I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here Now!' is in demand on the small screen in the UK, having fronted successful shows on ITV, MTV, Channel 4 and the BBC.

The Wicklow-born beauty is one of Ireland's most successful broadcasters operating abroad, along with Cork''s ownGraham Norton and Limerick's Terry Wogan.

2014 was one of her most successful years and the profits at Laura Whitmore Ltd rose by increased by €216,945 or 70 per cent from €308,740 to €525,559.

The presenter's company’s accumulated profits stood at €29,378 last March with cash of €38,388, showing that her wealth has increased 15 fold in only three years, while her cash pile has jumped 13 fold in the same period.

During the same period, the accumulated profits at the firm rose by €187,631 or 67 per cent from €279,662.

Laura has just begun presenting the I’m a Celebrity….spin off with co-host Joe Swash, which she has presented since 2011. She also recently quit her post at MTV News after seven years so that she could be open to more projects.

The latest addition to the Irish star's empire is jewellery line Daisy London which she launched earlier this year.
