The finale of season five of Game of Thrones was rather eventful, not least because fans watched the demise of one of their favourite characters.

**WARNING - SPOILERS***

Jon Snow was knifed in a mutiny at the Wall and fans recoiled in horror as he lay bleeding, apparently dead, on the snow.  But is he actually dead?

Many fans have been speculating that the arrival of Melisandre shortly before his dead implies he will be resurrected and the fact that Kit Harington was photographed arriving at Belfast airport seems to add credence to that theory.

An eagle-eyed fan spotted Kit and his man bun strolling through the Northern Ireland airport yesterday and the image appeared on fan Twitter page WatchersOnTheWall.

Of course he may just be visiting friends or taking in the sights he missed during filming.  But we'd rather think he's returning for season 6.

Emilia Clarke, Maisie Williams, and Sophie Turner have all been spotted in the city as they return for the read throughs for the upcoming season.

And it sounds like it's going to be a real treat.  Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, has read the scripts and revealed that the new season will go from "shocking moment to shocking moment".

Fans are well used to shocks although season 5 was criticised in some quarters for lagging a little at times.  Not so season 6, says Clarke.

"This season coming up, that we’re about to film, there’s none of that," she told the Los Angeles Times.

"It’s just go, go, go, go. Shocking moment to shocking moment. Epic moment to epic moment. It’s mental; it’s epic. And definitely Dany’s a part of it."
