Kian Egan was left devastated on The Voice of Ireland on Sunday night as a previous member of his team snubbed him in favour of Rachel Stevens.
Laura O'Connor (20) from Finglas made it to the live shows in series 3 and was mentored by Kian.
Her friend Gavin, who accompanied her to the audition and had also been in the live shows in 2013, was adamant that she should not choose Kian if more than one coach turned.
Kian recognised her voice as soon as she started singing Ella Henderson's Yours and he, along with Bressie, Una, and Rachell all turned their chairs in the hopes of bagging her for their teams.
"I was gutted when you went out, everybody was shocked and we have been in touch over the years," said Kian during his pitch.
"I will be devastated if you don't pick me."
Unfortunately, Kian ended up devastated as Laura opted to join Team Rachel.
