Junior Minister John Halligan will appear on the Late Late Show this Friday where he will face a grilling over his handling of the Waterford Hospital drama.
The Independent TD has clashed with the Government over a decision not to award a second cardiac cath lad to the South East Hospital
Mr Halligan has threatened to resign and bring down the Government if a second cath lab is not delivered.
Tensions have heightened between Mr Halligan and Fine Gael following an interview he gave to the Sunday Independent last week.
During the interview, Mr Halligan accused Fine Gael of a "stitch-up" and three Fine Gael ministers of "dirty politics".
He told the newspaper: "I will bring all hell down on top of them if they don't deliver this."
Mr Halligan is expected to be asked about this and other items when he is interviewed by Ryan Tubridy.
He will be joined on the show by extreme adventurer Bear Grylls who will talk about bringing Barack Obama on a wild trip through Alaska last year. He’ll also be clearing up what really happened with Spice Girl Mel B and his jellyfish sting on Running Wild with Bear Grylls last week.
Anna May McHugh will tell viewers what they can expect at the Ploughing Championships in Offaly next week, and we’ll see world record sheep shearer Ivan Scott demonstrate his skills.
Ryan will also be joined by Jane Seymour with some hints for the new Irish Dancing with the Stars, entrepreneur Enda O’Coineen and BP Fallon in a rare performance alongside Emmy Lou and the Agenda. The show will also see music from Michael English and Vladimir & Anton.
