The documentary, commissioned by TV3 and the BBC, is currently being filmed and may receive its first full screening at the Cannes Film Festival in May.

A multi-episode version will be shown on TV3 and on the BBC's Story- ville programme.

Film producer Ms Du Plantier's son, Pierre-Louis Bau-day, has already been interviewed, and some filming has taken place in west Cork, where she was murdered near her holiday home in December 1996.
