James Cordon secures €4m deal for his US chat show
Popular comedian James Cordon is laughing all the way to the bank - with a €4 million deal to keep his show on air.
The British tv personality has landed a two year extension on his US chat show deal.
The 36-year-old proved himself to be a hit with audiences across the pond during his stint on The Late Late Show from March - present.
According to The Irish Daily Mirror, Corden has drawn in audiences of over a million, meaning that bosses at CBS were keen to keep him on air.
The new deal means that Corden will be a regular fixture until 2020.
Clips from the show have garnered some 200 million views on YouTube, showing how popular Corden is with a global audience.
As a result, CBS is in talks with YouTube about potentially streaming whole episodes on the video hosting site.
Dad-of-two Corden originally found fame as Essex boy Smithy in Gavin and Stacey.
