An all-star cast has signed up to appear in a tv movie version of The Lion King.
The Lion Guard: Return Of The Roar will follow the story of Simba, Pumbaa, Nala and Kion, acting as a precursor to the 'Lion Guard' tv series.
The made-for-tv movie will premiere on screens on the Disney Junior channel in 2016.
The cast includes Rob Lowe as Simba, Ernie Sabella as Pumbaa, Gabrielle Union as Nala and Max Charles as Kion.
Also set to feature is legendary actor James Earl Jones (84) who will voice Mufasa.
Disney classic The Lion King was originally released in 1994, and has already had two sequels – The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride in 1998 and The Lion King 1½ in 2004.
