Actor Kit Harington had been spotted shooting a scene or two for the new series in Belfast in recent months and now, with season 6 looming, he has finally spoken several words on the subject.

Whether or not they're spoilers remains to be seen, but just in case, stop reading now if you don't want to (maybe) know...

Speaking to Time Out ahead of his West End role in Doctor Faustus, he admitted he's involved, albeit as a corpse.

“I filmed some scenes of me being dead – [jokily] it’s some of my best work,” he said.

“I know how long I’m a corpse for, but I can’t tell you that!”

Of course, Harington could be leading fans a merry dance by implying he's dead as a doornail as it's always possible Snow becomes a White Walker or gets revived by Melisandre.

We'll find out for sure on April 24.
