It's Jon Snow all over again. Devastated The Walking Dead fans are clinging to any sliver of hope that Glenn may have survived.

Some believe it's possible that Glenn, who apparently died in last week's shocking episode, held Nicholas' corpse over him as the Walkers ate and is actually still alive.

However, Steven Yeun's name is no longer featured in the opening titles, which would indicate he will not return this series.

Also, showrunner Scott M Gimple said he will only be seen again, if at all, through flashback.

Even so, fans still cling to hope and executive producer David Alpert is helping to keep that hope alive by refusing to confirm the death.

"We will find out what happened to Glenn," he told Variety.  "I feel like, regardless of what happened to Glenn, he paid a tremendous price for having been human to Nicholas, and that, to me, from an emotional point of view, whether or not Glenn is alive or dead or something else - the Glenn that we knew, the one that believed in the better side of humanity, I think is dead."

It looks like he'll be back, although it's most likely it will be in flashback, or perhaps even as a Walker...
