She was a relative newcomer to soap land, but her fiery Fair City character certainly wasn't.
Caroline Harvey, who plays Farrah Phelan on the Dublin soap, said she felt no pressure joining the show - even though her character has been played by three different actresses in the past.
Fiona Glascott first played Farah in 1998, followed by Sinead Keenan and then, most recently, by Denise McCormack.
"At the start I made the decision to do my own thing," Caroline said of landing her role as the new Farrah.
"And because there was a long gap between when Denise played Farrah and when I played her, it allowed me some breathing space."
Farrah returned to Carrigstown in 2014 after her dad Christy's stroke and Caroline has had some pretty big storylines of late, including her husband sleeping with her sister Heather.
Despite completing an acting course at The Factory in Bow Street, Caroline said acting was never her "big dream" growing up.
"I never really thought I would pursue an acting career, it kind of just happened organically," said the Kilbarrack actress.
Tonight will see show villain Heather get what's coming to her when she is slapped in the face by Ama over her affair with Ama's boyfriend Shane.
"I'm Team Ama all the way," Caroline said. "Heather is totally impulsive and destructive."
