How you know The X Factor is back...Honey G is the talk of Twitter after 'real deal' rap

It's good to know The X Factor's standards haven't slipped over the last year.
Since leaving our screens in December, there has been much to-do about hyped up behind the scenes "drama" between judges as Simon Cowell and co desperately try to reclaim the glory of a show that reached its peak in 2009. But fear not, the show is back to its true roots - making stars out of terrible singers.
During Saturday night's season 13 opener, this honour went to Rapper Honey G, whose real name Anna Georgette Guilford. The 35-year-old from North "Weezy" (West London) naturally made it through the next round after a unforgettable rendition of Missy Elliott's Work it.
Nicole, who never met a person she didn't like, danced with glee, while Louis Walsh smiled blindly and Simon Cowell rolled his eyes. Sharon Osbourne was also there.
Honey was quick to point out she is a "genuine urban artist". "I'm not any Tom, Dick, or Harry, I am the real deal," she said, before making it through to the next round.
