'Hot Dog' Harrison Ford talks Halloween, Star Wars and his near fatal plane crash
It's Harrison Ford as you've never seen him before.
He donned a hot dog costume, complete with ketchup, mustard and even a cute doggy nose for his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night.
Ever the pro, the veteran actor didn't let his hilarious costume distract him and was as entertaining and as witty as ever.
He revealed he is a big fan of Halloween and always wears a costume, a tradition that began when he took his children trick-or-treating in the 1980's.
Kimmel managed to elicit a few cryptic comments from Ford about the upcoming Star Wars movie (The Force Awakens).
"I want the audience to experience it ... I don’t want them to hear it from me," he said.
Ford also addressed the fact that Luke Skywalker doesn't feature on the movie's official poster.
"There was a very good reason. I can’t tell you. Nothing. I can tell you this - the movie is really good.
"The new cast, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac are phenomenal.
"J.J. has made an incredible movie, you will not be disappointed," he said.
The actor recalled about his brush with death in March when his plane crashed on a LA golf course.
"I remember the engine stopping, and then I remember telling the tower what I was going to do.
"I remember their suggestion, that I take the normal route to land.
"I knew I wasn’t going to do that so I said 'No.'
"And that’s the last thing I remember until five days after.”
