Jedward have taken a pop at former manager Louis Walsh just weeks after Walsh said working with them was the most embarrassing moment of his career.
Walsh championed Edward and John Grimes as their mentor on The X Factor in 2009 and managed them as their career soared in the aftermath of the show.
However, Walsh recently made the "embarrassment" comments to Woman's Own magazine.
Speaking at the launch of the Diane Award anti-bullying campaign at Facebook's Dublin headquarters, Edward referred to an ex-manager.
"We're like survivors of negative press and bullying or ex-managers or anything," he said.
"We are always striving forward - he'll be in the old people's home soon so it's all good."
Edward went on to say that they earned massive fees for other people but "no money was put into our career".
Even so, seven years later the 24-year-old twins have carved out a lucrative niche for themselves. Their latest adventure sees them joining the panel of a top Chinese talent show.
