Following the massive success of Gogglebox, Channel 4 has commissioned a new series featuring children.
The Gogglesprogs Christmas special will broadcast on Christmas Day with a new cast of children taking centre stage.
According to Executive Producer Freya Sampson, we can expect the children to be even more honest about their opinions than their adult counterparts.
“There is something special about watching these children give their very different opinions in an utterly honest and ultimately hilarious way," she says.
"The special is funny, heart-warming, and has the charm of the original Gogglebox series but the way the children interact gives it a different perspective which finds you both laughing and crying."
On the back of the Christmas Day special, Channel 4 has commissioned a six-part Gogglesprogs series of one-hour programmes.
It's an eclectic mix of kids with interesting ranging from One Direction to Spongebob Squarepants to current affairs and MasterChef fans.
One of the duos featured is best friends Christina (8) and Stephanie (9) from Essex. One loves X Factor, the other prefers classical music.
The show also features North Yorkshire boys Jacob and Connor, both 10, who are self-confessed news and current affairs junkies, and are both members of their school's Current Affairs Club.
Gogglesprogs airs on Christmas Day, 8pm Channel 4
