Game of Thrones star Liam Cunningham told Kit Harrington to 'f*** off' when he lied about Jon Snow's fate
**WARNING: Spoilers for season 6 episode 2**
Now that season six episode two of Game of Thrones has finally revealed that Jon Snow is actually ALIVE (Hallelujah, if only for closure), the actor who plays him can finally relax.
Kit Harington has revealed he had to lie to his friends, family and cast members for an entire year about the fate of his character.
He told Entertainment Weekly, "At first, I thought I would find it fun. This will be a fun game. But I had to lie to a lot of close friends and cast members and crew. The longer it went, the more I felt like I was betraying them. So I did end up letting people in, slowly.”

Kit also revealed that Irish actor and fellow Game of Thrones star Liam Cunningham was one of the individuals who had him sussed from the beginning, telling him "to f*** off from the start".
However, actress Sophie Turner who plays Sansa Stark was taken in by his ruse.
"Sophie Turner, bless her, wrote me a really long letter about how much she loved working with me – and I still got it,” he said. “That made me chuckle.”
He even had a code name on set, LC, as the name Jon Snow was banned.
Game of Thrones airs on Sky Atlantic at 9pm on Mondays.
