Maria will join Martin on the couch on Monday November 2 and will also step in for Martin King on Monday November 9.

The 28-year-old has previously revealed an interest in pursuing a TV career and her stint on TV3 will be her first presenting role on Irish TV.

“I am excited to be in the hot seat alongside Martin this coming Monday for The 7 O’ Clock Show, and again on the 9th with Lucy!" said Maria.

"I loved being a guest during my Rose year. The craic the pair of them have in studio with their guests always leaves people at home wanting more than the hour.”

Maria, who was crowned Rose of Tralee in 2014, is the latest personality to step in as guest presenter on the show, following in the footsteps of Twink, George Hook, Jon Kennedy and Ian Dempsey.

The Seven O’ Clock Show airs weekdays at 7pm on TV3.
