The 17-year-old daughter of US President Barack and First Lady Michelle Obama is said to have landed a production internship on HBO show Girls, according to TMZ.

Pictures are circulating of the teenager on set of the hit show in Brooklyn and Dunham has been a vocal supporter of the Obama administration.

It marks her second media role in the last year, where she interned at Extant, a tv show airing on CBS starring Oscar winner Halle Berry.
