Everybody loved Scarlett Moffatt on Celebrity First Dates but she failed to hit it off with her Irish love match.
The Geordie girl was a massive hit with viewers as she made an appearance on Friday night's Celebrity First Dates.
Even her date, an Irish mixed martial arts fighter called Tommy, was besotted with the bubbly reality TV star but the feeling didn't appear to be mutual.
Although clearly a lovely lad, Tommy spent their date performing magic tricks, which fell a bit flat, and talking too much - listing all the pets he's ever owned, including the big reveal that he had a goldfish when he was little.
Clearly unimpressed, Scarlett replied: "Everyone has a goldfish when they're little."
After a brief escape to the toilets, the 26-year-old announced that she needed "some shots", presumably to lighten up the mood and to keep her partner quiet for a few minutes.
Earlier in the night, she revealed to her dinner date that she won her spot on Gogglebox because she couldn't tell Nelson Mandela and Uncle Ben apart.
"We had to talk about these pictures of celebrities," she told Tommy.
"For a good ten minutes I was talking about Uncle Ben. You know, the rice man. But it was actually a picture of Nelson Mandela."
Earlier in the evening, she complained to the maitre d’ Fred Sirieix that her love life has "declined" since her Gogglebox fame.
"Do you know what you’re looking for?" he asked.
"Well, a man," she replied.
She explained she'd had plenty of disastrous dates in the past, including one with "a lad who ate his peas with a steak knife ! And then afterwards he asked us to go off to Halford’s car park!"
But she's looking for someone who she can be "comfortable with".
I would happily date Scarlett Moffatt. She's completely adorable. #FirstDates— Ryan Love (@RyanJL) July 15, 2016
"I just want someone I’m so comfortable with that they can see us without fake tan on. When I’m on the couch I’ve got my mum and dad there but there’s space for someone else," she said.
"In ten years I do not want to be watching EastEnders with a brew."
As for her ideal man, Scarlett said: "I really like the pirate look," adding hilariously: ‘I don’t mean like a wooden leg and parrot. It would be Captain Hook, but obviously not animated. That would be a problem."
Thankfully, the TV personality has since found love with a new man and, in a tweet, she revealed that she was watching the show with him.
"So in an hour I will be watching first dates with my now boyfriend, this is more awkward than the time I watched basic instinct with my rents," she said.
And then posted a selfie with her new man, Luke Crodden, who she referred to as "the one".
