It looks like the show might not go on for Dancing Des.

Sports broadcaster Des Cahill has been struck down with several maladies ahead of this Sunday's episode of 'Dancing with the Stars'.

According to RTE, he is suffering from conjunctivitis, a sinus infection, fluid on the knee and a calf strain.

It is now unclear if he will be able to perform.

This week, there is quite literally nothing to play for on the show as nobody will be eliminated.

But the show's producers say it will still be an eventful episode.

Last Sunday saw Teresa Mannion and Des placed in the bottom two of the judges' leaderboard when they scored 15 and 12 points respectively, while Des Bishop, who scored 24 points, was voted out.
