Daisy Lowe insists Strictly curse won't affect her romance with boyfriend Bradley Wade
Strictly star Daisy Lowe said her romance with new boyfriend Bradley 'Frankie' Wade is too solid to be rocked by the show.
While the BBC dancing programme, which pairs celebrities with professional dancers who train together up to six hours a day, is famous for bringing together couples off the dancefloor.
Georgia May Foote first met ex-boyfriend Giovanni Pernice (who is paired with Irish presenter Laura Whitmore) in 2015 and Ben Cohen first met his partner Kristina Rihanoff on the show in 2013, but first got together in 2014 when Cohen split with his wife of 10 years.
But Lowe said that while it's still early days for her and the model, there's "no chance" she'll fall in love onscreen.
"Frankie and Ihave been dating for just over a month and it's going well," she told the Sun on Sunday.
"He's fit, really fit from the inside out. Of course I've been asked about the Strictly curse, but there's no chance."
She is paired with Slovenian dancer Alijaz Skorjanec, who is engaged to fellow dancer Janette Manrara, and praised the couple's sweet nature.
"He is like my brother," she added. "Frankie loves Alijaz and he is really supportive, which is lovely.
"And he and Janette are so in love, they are gorgeous and engaged and we all have so much fun together. Whenever the curse is mentioned, I'm so happy I met him before we started."
Meanwhile, Bray-born Whitmore opened the show on Friday night and scored 25 points for her cha-cha to Venus, but she was chastised by the judges for having "flexed legs" throughout.
