Cheryl to join Cowell at X Factor judges' houses as former host Olly Murs heads to rival show The Voice
It's like musical chairs in TV talent show land this week as Cheryl has been confirmed to joins Simon Cowell on The X Factor and rumours abound that Olly Murs has signed up for The Voice.
Cheryl will return to ITV's X Factor for a short stint at judges' houses and will help Simon whittle down his category from his home, Chateau Diter in the south of France.
The episode will land in three weeks time. Stormzy will joins Nicole Scherzinger while it is believed Mika will join Louis and it is thought that Sharon Osbourne will have her kids Jack and Kelly with her for the task.
Meanwhile, reports are circulating about former X Factor presenter Olly Murs and his leap to rival show The Voice, which moved from the BBC to ITV.
The Sun reports that Olly will take over from Gavin Rossdale on the coaching panel alongside Sir Tom Jones, Jennifer Hudson and Will.i.am.
Olly was a finalist on the show and co-presented the main show with Caroline Flack in 2015 after Dermot O'Leary was let go. They lasted one season before Dermot was reinstated.
He's not the first X Factor graduate to switch allegiances, however. JLS star Marvin Humes went from being part of an X Factor group to presenting on The Voice.
Rita Ora, meanwhile, moved from The Voice to The X Factor in 2015.
