Caroline Flack has unexpectedly announced her departure from 'The Xtra Factor.'
The 34-year-old presenter of the spin-off show has revealed she has decided not to return to ITV2 for a fourth series.
Last night the star tweeted, "I have a lil annoucement" before posting a picture of her statement on Instagram.
It read, "Heyyyyy! After three brilliant years of hosting Xtra Factor its time to pass the baton. It's been incredible and I'll never forget it."
She added, "How can I when I am married to Louis Walsh? It's all he ever talks about at home.
''I wish the new team all the best and look forward to watching the new series.''
Flack began presenting the series with previous X-Factor finalist Olly Murs in 2011 and was linked to Harry Styles from One Direction in 2012.
Yesterday it was announced that former Spice Girl Mel B will fill the judging seat vacated by Nicole Scherzinger on The X Factor.
