Can you have sex in space? Ask Aoibhinn, PJ and Neil
TV beauty Aoibhinn Ni Shuilleabhain and funny men PJ Gallagher and Neil Delamere are game for a laugh in a new panel show all about science.
The trio are teaming up for Eureka on RTE2, which will see the worlds of science and comedy collide.
Each week, host Neil will put team captains PJ and Aoibhinn and their teams of comedians and science personalities through their paces.
While the show has a comic twist, participants will need their thinking caps on to answer some quirky questions, including 'Can you have sex in space?'.
"They are the kind of questions that scientists are talking about on a regular basis, so it was fun to do it on a panel with two comedians," Aoibhinn told the Herald.
During the quiz show, the tenacious teams will also be asked: 'What does cheese made with PJ and Aoibhinn's own bacteria taste like?'
"Taking germs from my hand to try and make cheese was a bit gross," Aoibhinn said.
The 10 episodes were filmed within the space of a week and will include a selection of comedians and scientists. The show kicks off on Monday.
It won't be all smooth sailing for host Neil, who will risk life and limb to celebrate the greatest 'Eureka Moments' of our time.
He will channel four million volts of electricity and shoot lightning out of his fingertips, as well as creating an earthquake in Westmeath.
