Well, that didn't take long!

Beau Dermott (12) blew away the judges, audience and viewers on the first episode of Britain's Got Talent with her stunning, note-perfect rendition of Defying Gravity from the musical Wicked.

And so impressed were bosses of the West End musical that they invited Beau down to meet them.

“Wicked have invited me down. Being involved in it in some way would be a real dream come true," she told The Sun.

“On a scale of ten, how excited am I? Ten! I would have to pinch myself if it happened. I’d like to play Elphaba. I’ve seen it five times. It’s my favourite.”

Beau's performance prompted judge Amanda Holden to press the golden buzzer which guarantees her a place in the semi-finals.

Many compared her performance to that of Susan Boyle's as Beau was initially softly-spoken and nervous when she emerged on stage only to shock everyone with the power of her voice.

"Everyone else might as well just go home, because it was incredible," said David Walliams.

The Wicked team tweeted their support of Beau following the show, as did X Factor winner Sam Bailey.
