Sky Sports presenter Rachel Wyse was infamously referred to as a "Baywatch Babe" by another sports commentator, here she explains why her looks should not come in to the equation.
The Dublin born broadcaster has fronted the Sky Sport's GAA coverage alongside Brian Carney, Jamesie O'Connor and Peter Canavan.
When the panel was announced last year, pundit Joe Brolly referred to the newly instated GAA panel as "TV3 plus Baywatch Babe".
However Rachel (30) did not let the remark get under her skin.
"I don't have much interest in people talking away from the sport," Rachel told the Irish Daily Star's CHIC Magazine. "I'm there to do my job to the best of my ability."
The Blackrock native added, "It's not about me or the other personalities when it comes down to it, it's about the game."
The former equestrian show jumper has worked tirelessly to carve out a career in television.
Rachel cut her teeth while presenting the Show Jumping Ireland Premier Series in 2008 and 2009 on Sky Sports and TG4 before becoming a co-presenter on Xccelerate.
During her five year stint with Sky Sports she has interviewed notable sports personalities including Brian O'Driscoll and Katie Taylor.
The humble broadcaster has also raised over €83,000 for Cancer Research during her media career.
