Louis Walsh may have been dropped from the coveted X Factor top table but it seems things are worse for the Irish star than previously thought as it appears he’s taken a job as a studio cleaner.
The Mayo-born music producer featured in an advertisement for the overhauled new series despite having been sacked as a judge by X Factor creator Simon Cowell.
In the ad, which is to debut next week, new judge Nick Grimshaw has a pop at Louis’ token line ‘You look like a popstar’, while returned X Factor hosts Caroline Flack and Olly Murs tour behind the scenes of the souped up show.
The new tongue-in-cheek ad features new judge Rita Ora and plays up her vanity, while dozens of robot Cheryl Cole’s burst out lines of fake sympathy to contestants.
Also featured in the ad is Simon Cowell who believes this year’s winner will be “bigger than One Direction”.
Although the ad is clearly in jest and makes fun of the talent show Ireland hates to love, poor Louis seems to have picked the short straw.
As the ad draws to a close the former judge can be seen sweeping the empty floors of the X Factor studio far away from the judge’s seat he held for over ten years.
