No chest-baring but Ross went for a beach run - here's the best reaction to Poldark on Twitter
Poldark's highly anticipated third series kicked off last night and it didn't disappoint for fans (aside from the lack of chest-baring from Ross).
The first episode was dominated by death as Caroline Penvenen's uncle Ray and Demelza's father Tom Carne both passed away.
However, there was the arrival of Elizabeth's baby and newcomers Valentine and Demelza's brother Drake (Harry Richardson) to balance things out a bit.
Here's the best reaction on Twitter. Whoever was manning the BBC One official feed last night was on fire...
I bloody love the witty sarcasm in the scripts. #poldark— Sarah Kutschera (@NotSoWittyUN) June 11, 2017
Fantastic return of #Poldark. Simmering tensions. Stunning backdrops. Heaving bosoms. Hateful uncles. Life & Death. Nonsense but wonderful!— Tarn Richardson (@TarnRichardson) June 12, 2017
good to see the overly principled Ross Poldark isn’t above a cliche cathartic sprint on the beach— Harry Pater (@thotandchaser) June 12, 2017
Did anyone else notice that Elizabeth's huge baby has a head full of black curly hair? #Poldark— Aidan Turner's Hair (@AidansHair) June 12, 2017
