Jonathan Ross did not hold back after Ariana Grande failed to turn up for her scheduled interview slot on his TV programme.
Ariana was scheduled to appear in front of a live studio audience but did not turn up, much to the host's chagrin.
He told the audience: "‘Ariana is in town. We were told she would be in the car at 6pm to be here for 7pm then it got to 7pm and she was not in the car – 7.30pm and she is still not in the motherf***ing car".
"She was booked but the lazy little f***er has not come".
He said "I don't think we can hold out much hope" before joking "Maybe she has gone to her first Nando’s".
He added that her management had showed up to the taping.
"We have people from the record company here. They seem as perplexed by this behaviour as we are".
"We are going to give Ariana the benefit of the doubt and not say anything mean or judgemental".
Grande has previously hit out at reports of diva-like behaviour.
"If you see a woman working hard who is successful – who doesn’t stop until she reaches her goal... you label them a diva".
"But if you see a man doing that, you’re like, 'He’s incredible, he’s an amazing businessman'".
The show aired Saturday at 10pm with Danny DeVito, Joan Collins and Sheridan Smith giving longer interviews to fill Ariana's spot. The trio even sang a song together.
