The Irish actor, who plays Ser Davos in the fantasy, was almost “decapitated” by a camera during the filming of the much awaited showdown between Jon Snow and Ramsey Bolton.

“I nearly got killed by a camera,” Liam said according to The Irish Daily Star.

“We were doing this scene where I’m riding past a line of soldiers on horseback, sending them off into battle. So, when they’re sent off, my horse wants to go with the rest of the gang, as all horses do.

“I had to hold him back, but they brought the camera crane in really close. Luckily, I could see it in my peripheral vision, because my horse jumped sideways- and I narrowly avoided being decapitated,” he said.

Fans are eagerly anticipating the episode in which Jon Snow and Ramsey Bolton finally clash, which has been titled ‘The Battle of the Bastards’.

Cunningham admitted that it took the crew three days to build the set for scenes shot in the battle’s aftermath.
