“Having a little sister is a dream come true. And a nightmare.”
The Secret Life of Brothers and Sisters is the latest documentary on Channel 4 as part of The Secret Life of… series - and it might just be the cutest yet.
The fly-on-the-wall documentary follows seven pairs of young siblings on a three day camping trip without the direct supervision of their parents.
The two-part special shows the youngsters squabble and look after each other, while their interactions are observed by a group of scientists.
The pint-sized stars are faced with a series of mini-challenges to see how they handle them, and the results are equally as sweet and fascinating as you can imagine.
When an attempt to make a stick tower became too much for two-year-old Mabel, her five-year-old sister Lola tried to encourage her to keep going.
"It's just a really nice thing to do, to courage people," she said.
"It's a bit like in The Wizard of Oz, the cowardly lion lost his courage."
As for Tia (five) and her sister Amelia Rose (two), Tia epitomises the majority of sibling relationships by saying: “Having a little sister is a dream come true. And a nightmare.”
Each of the tots are totally oblivious to how sweet they are, which makes the whole programme even more adorable.
