An Irish teenager had all four Britain's Got Talent judges on their feet after an emotional audition on the TV3 programme on Saturday.

Leah Barniville (14) from Ratoath in Co Meath took to the Britain's Got Talent stage and stunned judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams, who gave the teenager a standing ovation following her performance of Carusa by Lucio Dalla.

The singer's performance was given high praise from Simon Cowell, who said the classical audition was "incredible".

"I thought that was honestly incredible and you're 14 years old. You don't know how good you are. A billion percent yes," he said.

Judge Amanda Holden also commended the "flawless audition."

Leah was accompanied to the audition by her parents and younger brother Daniel, who was brought to tears by the performance

The teenager marked her first visit to the UK in celebration as all four judges put her through to the next stage of the competition.
