The two DEA agents who were tasked with taking down Pablo Escobar are coming to Dublin.
Javier Peña and Steve Murphy will be in Dublin in December to discuss their role in taking down the Colombian drug lord.
In the popular Netflix's series, the two US Drug Enforcement Agents (DEA) are played by Pedro Pascal and Boyd Holbrook , but the real-life versions will be in Vicar Street on December 14.
They'll discuss the long, murderous manhunt for Escobar, the world's first "narco-terrorist" who killed thousands of people through bombings and assassinations to protect his billion-dollar cocaine empire. They'll also discuss the rise and fall of the Medellin Cartell in detail and engage in a Q&A with audience members afterwards.
Mark Jacobs, Director at Outset Agency, who organised the event said “This event will give Narcos fans and those interested in Pablo Escobar the opportunity to hear first hand information from the two men who were instrumental in his takedown, and provide what we are sure will be a very insightful and unique evening.”
