Week nine on RTE's Dancing with the Stars is 'Icon Week'.

The remaining six couples will be trying to keep out of the Dance Off as they dance to some of their favourite songs as each contestant reveals their personal music icon.

Katherine Lynch has chosen Proud Mary by Tina Turner; Denise McCormack will be dancing to Valerie by Amy Winehouse; Dayl Cronin has selected Justin Bieber's What Do You Mean; GAA star Aidan O'Mahony has gone for Ray Charles' I Got A Woman; Aoibhin Gairhy has revealed herself to be a Beyonce fan with Crazy In Love and Des Cahill will take to the floor for Billy Joel's Uptown Girl.

Sunday also sees the return of judge Julian Benson who was forced to pull out of the show at the start of the month with illness.

“I am very excited to be getting back in the hot seat on Sunday and joining my fellow judges Brian and Loraine “the dream team”," he said.

"I was humbled and overwhelmed by the wonderful warm get well wishes and want to say a huge thank you to everybody - they really helped me get better.
