The Django Unchained star's love for the fantasy show runs so deep that she even threw a Game of Thrones dinner for her mom.

Currently starring in hit TV show Scandal - for which she was nominated for a Golden Globe at this year's awards but lost out to House of Cards' Robin Wright - Kerry confesses the whole cast have a thing for their television rival.

"I'm an enormous Game of Thrones fans," Kerry told AccessHollywood.com. "The whole cast of Scandal; we're all obsessed with Game.

"I actually cooked my mother a Game of Thrones dinner for Mother's Day last year. [We ate] big turkey legs - so fun."

The 36-year-old actress announced her first pregnancy in October last year with her American football player husband Nnamdi Asomugha.

The star glowed at Saturday night's Screen Actors Guild Awards in a pink Prada crop top and black skirt.

"I'm feeling really great and very grateful. This is nothing compared to 16 hour days on Scandal," she laughed.

The expectant mother has managed to take a break from her on-set duties with Scandal, as the show recently enjoyed its mid-season finale.

The White House drama will be back soon though, and Kerry says fans will be pleased with the outcome when it returns in late February.

"We're getting closer and closer. It'll be worth the wait," she said, adding that the show will pick up "about a month later".
