S&M masterclass at '50 Games to Play'
S&M soirees in penthouse suites aren't usually my scene.
But, with 50 Shades of Grey about to hit cinema screens, I threw caution to the wind and made a beeline for Durex's '50 Games to Play' bash which promised to unlock everyone's sexual inhibitions while tickling our respective fancies.
I was escorted upstairs by Durex 'sexpert' Alix Fox, a woman who claims to be "saucier than a HP factory".
Fox was eager to tell me about the most on-trend sexual antics.
"Threesomes are big news right now," she said. "But, in a way, the threesome never went out of fashion. It's a bit of a timeless classic isn't it?" "Like an Aston Martin?" I asked. Before she had time to answer, the doors of the elevator sprung open.
Inside, waitresses wearing boudoir masks whizzed about the place serving glasses of prosecco and handing out whips and condoms. "Stock up," Fox chimed.
All the while, dashing young gents tied people up with silk scarves and fed them pieces of avocado - surely not the sexiest fruit going? "Sex is an integral part of all our lives," a seasoned sex therapist told me. "We all need some sexual healing, a little role play and a set of nipple clamps in our lives."
