Tributes pour in for much-loved radio presenter Johnny Lyons
Tributes have been pouring in for popular radio presenter Johnny Lyons who has died suddenly at his Dublin home.
The 'Now That's What I Call Sport' presenter was found dead in his home on Wednesday evening.
The much-loved sports presenter on 98FM was described by his colleagues as the 'backbone' of the station's sports department.
Fans expressed their grief on Twitter, saying he would be "sorely missed".
Newstalk Lunchtime presenter Jonathan Healy described Mr Lyons as a "big character on Irish radio", while journalist Denis Kirwan said he was "one of the most decent guys I have ever worked with".
Social media users quickly began to use the hashtag #ImJohnnyLyons, a nod to the presenter's catchphrase.
