The Today FM presenter revealed live on air that he will attempt a very ambitious motorbike jump, as part of the station's Dare to Care campaign.

Fellow presenters Dermot and Dave were also challenged to take party in his dare. They bravely agreed to allow Anton to jump his dirt bike over them... hopefully they'll walk away from the stunt unscathed.

The mid-morning presenter will attempt his stunt live on air next week and it remains to be seen which other Today FM presenters will agree to allow Anton to ‘jump them’.

Anton, who last drove a dirt bike 25 years ago, said: “Well, Evel Knievel may be shooting slightly too high, think more Mongoose in BMX Bandits...that’s kind of where I’m at."

Today FM presenters and listeners have been taking on dares to raise money for the Irish Cancer Society.

Yesterday, hundreds of women across the country wore the wedding dresses to work as part of #WeddingDressWednesday. Presenter Ian Dempsey has agreed to get a tattoo, while Matt Cooper is preparing to write an original song and perform it in the Workman's Club, alongside Bressie.

Dermot and Dave will ride the famous Cú Chulainn rollercoaster at Tayto Park – the presenter has made no secret of his fear of rollercoasters but gave in after Tayto Park agreed to match the amount he raised.
