Ryan Tubridy's week in Ethiopia comes to an end

Broadcaster Ryan Tubridy’s week-long trip to Ethiopia came to an end with a visit to the city of Awassa.
Charity GOAL works in rural programmes in Awassa, which aim to improve household livelihoods and food security foe rural communities.
While in Ethiopia, Ryan visited GOAL’s refugee camps in Gambella where its charity work began in March, 2014. The area is currently implementing a comprehensive nutrition intervention focusing on the screening, prevention and treatment of malnutrition for approximately 90,000 refugees at Kule and Tierkadi refugee camps.
The radio presenter, who is joining RTE Radio One in a few weeks, visited GOAL’s street child programmes in Ethiopia's capital Addis Ababa, where the aid agency works with children who live and work on the streets of the capital.
