She's gone from being a businesswoman to a broadcasting star, but Jennifer Maguire has admitted moving into radio has been tough.
The former Apprentice contestant presents 2fm's Breakfast Republic with funnyman Bernard O'Shea and broadcaster Keith Walsh and while the trio are a hit on the airwaves, it took Jen a while to settle into her radio role.
"I realised very early on that it takes a while to get a loyal listenership.
"I had to get used to doing a live show every single day," she explained.
"[Keith and Bernard] worked together on iRadio so they were used to it, but it took me a while."
While their breakfast show received some criticism when it began last year, Jen insisted she doesn't worry about rating figures.
"I just don't get radio ratings, so it is hard to get caught up in them. But I can tell from the texts and reaction of the listeners that we're doing much better now and are heading in the right direction," the new mum said.
