A relationship is almost ruined after a Valentine's radio prank goes too far
A radio prank that was supposed to win a caller a Valentine's Day gift ended in tears after it went horribly wrong.
Australian radio hosts Kyle and Jackie O asked a caller to prank their wife on their popular KIIS FM breakfast radio show in order to win a Valentine's Day prize.
As part of the prank, a caller named Marl called her wife Nicole and told her that she wanted the pair to have a threesome.
Marl had previously been married to a man and told her wife that she missed men.
Nicole didn't find the suggestion funny. At all.
Unaware that she was on the radio, she broke down in tears and cried, "Seriously, my wife is telling me she wants to be with someone else."
Marl was determined to win the AUS$1,000 Valentine's Day prize and didn't back down. She continued to push the prank on Nicole and played along even when her partner was clearly distraught.
"Are you serious?" Nicole asked through tears.
"To be honest, it's not something I'm interested in. Am I not good enough for you, is that it?"
But Nicole's sadness soon turned to anger as she snapped:"If it's something you want to do then maybe you should just go and do it.
"Why the f**k would you marry me? I don't think I can be there when you get home."
The radio hosts realised the prank had gone too far and tried to intervene to salvage the relationship.
Eventually the argument was settled but Nicole, naturally, still seemed upset by the whole ordeal, despite reassurances that it had all been a joke.
Marl didn't help matters when, at the end of the prank, she admitted that she did miss men "a little".
