Gaming and entertainment superstars Slogoman, Jelly and iamSanna join line up for PlayersXpo 28.07.17

The first line-up for PlayersXpo has been revealed and includes global gaming and entertainment superstars.

Ireland's first ultimate gaming event has secured 20-year-old YouTube celeb Slogoman (Josh Temple), Dutch vlogging star Jelly (Jelle Van Vuch) and Norwegian star iamSanna to appear.

PlayersXpo hits the Convention Centre in Dublin on Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 October and the new names join a jam-packed roster of new and emerging homegrown talent and new international acts who have yet to be revealed.

Between them the trio has a combined YouTube subscription base of over 11 million fans worldwide.

Having launched his channel at just 16-years-old, UK superstar ‘Slogoman’ has already amassed over one billion views, while his English speaking Dutch counterpart Jelly doubles the dose, with his 6.6 million subscribers giving him a jaw dropping record of over two billion views to date.

Jelly’s girlfriend and fellow gaming maven Sanna (iamSanna), also joining the bill, posts immersive fan focused content daily with an impressive 93 million views of her own.

Commenting on the first line-up announcement Cliona Carroll, Sponsorship and Events Manager at Independent News & Media (INM) said: "Delivering on our promise to present Ireland’s Ultimate Gaming Experience, we’re delighted to be launching our line-up with such an incredible calibre of both international and home-grown talent. PlayersXpo is a product of INM Events, but a result of our long-standing relationship with the industry here in Ireland.

"This genre of entertainment is about escapism and community, but it’s equally about blockbuster family fun and education, so we’ve carefully crafted every aspect of the journey to make it an unmissable experience for families and fans alike. As Ireland’s leading news & media group, PlayersXpo offers unique sponsorship opportunities for brands to engage with a captive audience ahead of a key gifting period, in what promises to be a true festival of fun for all."

Among the homegrown talent on the bill are Irish comedy gaming trio AllCast Irish Gamers, stream queen Anti-Tinklebell (Tink) and Dublin based retro game enthusiast, Naoise O’Hara (Retro Gamer Ireland).

The interactive PlayersXpo will give fans and families the chance to meet gaming celebs and try out some of the most anticipated videogames of the year.

Student, adult and family pass tickets are available now for both Saturday 28th October and Sunday 29th October at www.players.ie priced from €25.00 each per session.
