XTRA Factor presenter Olly Murs has claimed there is still a possibility he will return to the show he fronts with Caroline Flack – despite suggesting he would be unable to several weeks ago.
However the ‘Troublemaker’ singer told The Sun: “I've never said it was definite that I wasn't going back, just that it was unlikely due to my music.
"I've enjoyed The Xtra Factor, it's been a great part of my career.
"We've taken Xtra Factor back up to having millions of viewers, and Caroline and I have a lot of fans.
"It's been brilliant working with her, too. We have such a good relationship on screen. It's always fun and I'd love to do something else with her."
However the singer added that music is his main priority in 2013, stressing that he is focused on continuing to break the American market.
His former X Factor mentor could still sway his decision it seems, he said: “Simon Cowell has a very good way of persuading people to do things. I might yet be back on Xtra Factor."
X Factor producers are said to be keen to hold on to Murs in his presenting role, however are also said to be confident that Flack is strong enough to continue on the show without a co-host.
