Why Ryanair's hostess Edita is always ready for take-off

Never ones to knock the interests of savvy commercialism, Ryanair responded to the news that one of their air hostesses, Edita Schindlerova, is moonlighting as a porn star with an insouciant "so what?"
"What people do before or after they work for us is their business," quoth a spokesperson from the hallowed heights of O'Leary Towers. And it has to be said that the company preparing to launch pay-as-you-go toilets on all their flights (or as the Sun have incredulously dubbed the initiative, Pound for A Penny) is hardly in a position to cast judgment on those with an eye for a fast buck to be drawn from the call of nature.
In fact, it wouldn't come as that much of a shock if Edita's entrepreneurial edge provides the inspiration for Mr O'Leary to start an XXX- rated sideline. He's already taken a step in the Page Three direction with the advent of the Ryanair annual calendar. In what now seems like a decidedly knowing, wink-wink sort of move, the 2009 edition even features their very own online adult film actress stripped to a shiny bikini and accompanied by the tagline, "Sexy Edita was a total natural in front of the camera, and didn't mind getting her hands dirty at the fuelling station. What a star!"
The Ryanair pilot who initially discovered his colleague Edita online and, then broadcast his findings to the world, is clearly something of an erotica buff himself. Perhaps he and Edita could be persuaded to take part in a Ryanair branded foray into adult movies with a mile-high theme? All else that's required is a few willing passengers to make up a full cast. Perhaps pay-per-view blue movies will soon become a feature of all Ryanair journeys. Watch out for the free-orgasm- with-every-flight offer on a billboard near you.
