It won’t be a Grainne or a Siobhan for Myleene’s baby

Pregnant Myleene Klass (29) has revealed how she baulked at giving her new baby an Irish name — because she found them a little tricky on the tongue.

The former Hearsay singer looks every inch the blooming mum as she awaits the arrival of her first baby with her Irish fiance Graham Quinn this autumn.

After a scan last month, she was told she she is having a baby girl in a few months’ time. However, she admitted that when the happy couple began their hunt for the perfect name, she quickly realised that traditional Irish names were something of a mouthful.

“I asked Gray (Graham) to bring home a book of Irish names and I looked at it and said, ‘this is all very well and good but there’s no note on how to pronounce them’.”

“I was looking at names that don’t have a vowel in them and I didn’t know where to begin. So we’ll have to work on that.”

She met Graham when he worked as a minder for Hearsay in the UK, the first band ever formed on a reality show.

However, the bald-headed Dubliner had something of a shady past in his native city.

He had been arrested in Dublin in 1996 for possession of heroin and Myeleene admits that he spent years “avoiding going home”.

She persuaded him to face the music and was relieved when he was granted a suspended sentence.

He’s now a completely reformed character and is even the patron of a drug charity.
