Heir looms large at Freddie's royal stag do

Those who can, party. Those who Kent -- well, they party too.
It's official -- the British royals are coming here to have a good time. Lord Freddie Windsor, the only son of Prince and Princess Michael of Kent, was out on the town in Dublin two weekends ago. Yes, he let his heir down (he's 32nd in the line to the British throne) with 12 male friends (among them Harry Becher, Henry Morton-Jack, Raoul Fraser and Fritz von Westenholz.) Raoul Fraser? Fritz von Westenholz? Now why couldn't I have been given a name like that?
Even the British royalty have stags, you know. And ab fab Freddie is no different. Well, he is, actually, because he got delightful duo Ciara Egan and Louise O'Riordan of Quintessentially in Dublin to organise it for him. Naturally, they went to Lillie's Bordello and Krystle and every other club in between. There was a lot of Guinness consumed. They stayed in the Westbury hotel and had dinner in the Tea Rooms at the Clarence.
The blue-blooded stag party drew a lot of female admirers in Dublin, but all were pretty well-behaved -- which is just as well, because Lord Freddie will marry actress Sophie Winkleman, TV presenter Claudia Winkleman's half-sister, on September 12 in the Chapel Royal at Hampton Court.
And I'm sure he'd like to keep his head. As well as his heir.
