Will.i.am: Who cover fell from sky
Black Eyed Peas frontman Will.i.am says the chance to revamp The Who's My Generation came out of nowhere.
His new take on the mod classic is set to preview to a massive audience in America during one of their biggest sporting events of the year, the Super Bowl, which takes place on February 7.
"It literally fell out of the sky, I promise you," the rapper explained in Hollywood.
Last year the star showed of his mix off Bob Dylan's Forever Young, and this year he couldn't be more chuffed to work with some more music icons.
"Last year's Bob Dillon thing came out of the sky, now this year it's The Who - it just keeps on getting doper," Will raved.
"There's also Slash on it, and after they perform on the Super Bowl the song will be available on iTunes and all the proceeds will go to Haiti."
The rapper has an equally important performance to give at this Sunday night's Grammys, where he's promising we'll be impressed.
"I don't want to give it away but its going to be electric," he said.
