Whitney sings at Brown funeral
Whitney Houston supported her ex-husband Bobby Brown this week, by singing at his mother's funeral.
Bobby's mother Carole Brown passed away on January 20 and gossip website TMZ.com reports Whitney reached out to her ex-husband and asked if she could be a part of the funeral, which was held in Boston on Tuesday February 1.
Whitney performed twice during the service, singing a solo of the gospel song Precious Lord Take My Hand and then joining in with Johnny Gill and the New Edition Choir when they sang Never Would Have Made It.
The 47-year-old singer, who struggled to hit some of the high notes on her UK tour last year, had a microphone but showed off her powerful voice as she paid tribute to her late mother-in-law.
Whitney and Bobby were married in 1992 and had a turbulent relationship during which they both battled drug addiction, before they separated in 2006.
They have a 17-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina Houston Brown.
